Cannot create projects in IronPython Studio

Feb 28, 2008 at 4:25 PM
Hello,
I have installed IronPython Studio, after installing the VS Shell, and remembering to run vsshellisolated.enu.exe. When I try to create a Python project of any type, I get the following error message:

"Could not find any resources appropriate for the specified culture or the neutral culture. Make sure
"Microsoft.VisualStudio.Package.SecurityWarningDialog.resources" was correctly embedded or linked into
assembly "IronPythonProjectBase" at compile time, or that all the satellite assemblies required are loadable and fuly signed."

I can, however, edit individual .py files, but I want more!!

Thanks in advance,
Carl

This problem is sorted now. I had previously tried to install the IronPython integration package from the VS2008 SDK, which didn't work in any case. I have just uninstalled it and now IronPython Studio works correctly.

I have this exact problem myself but since I do not have VS2008 (I do have VS2005, however), so I never installed the integration package.  Right now I cannot get Ironpython Studio to create any project.
