intellisense not working with referenced dll

Dec 17, 2007 at 11:21 PM
Hi,
I added a reference to a dll like this:

import clr
clr.AddReferenceToFileAndPath("C:\iControlAssembly94_0\Release\iControl.dll")
from iControl import *

And intellisense does not cick in for this module, even though the script does compile and run just fine. what's more, from the IronPython console, intelisense works fine with the above code.

Any idea how to get it to work inside the editor?
Thanks alot.
Mohamed.

Bump. This would be really nice to have.

Another bump for this topic, specially for .Net classes. There should be an "Issue" tracking this.

As far as I know intellisense doesn't work even when I'm trying to use standard .net libraries, for example, by using this code:

from System.IO import Directory

I'm not getting any hint from VS about methods from that class or any other.
Does anyone knows why or how to make it working?
